James Curran has been owning a JOSKIN Modulo tanker of 16,000l for now 25 years. This Irish farmer from county Waterford explains his choice: "I already had some other painted tankers, but the bad quality of the paint convinced me to choose a galvanized tanker. In 1989, I went to the JOSKIN factory with the dealer at that time and I was seduced by the suction arm and the quality of the steel. There was no major difference in the price; so I took up my decision."

The Modulo 16,000 of 1990 is used most of the time to spread slurry: "we use it at 90% for our farm and the other 10% for contracting works. We have 400 cows and we spread the whole year through only with this tanker."

After 25 years of use and 3 different tractors used in that time lapse, the Modulo is especially appreciated for its compactness: "for a 16,000l tanker, it is rather short and easy to manoeuvre." Throughout the years, it has remained in good condition, as the low number of required spare parts proves it: "I had to change the seals of the Jumbo arms as well as the brake rams. That's all! The screws of the lights are still the same since the beginning! », says James.

In the future, James would like to buy a new tanker: "25 years ago, I could not afford big wheels... Today, I would even choose a triple-axle tanker because I know that quality is the best value for money. "

To conclude, James would recommend everyone to buy a JOSKIN tanker: "yes, look at my tanker: it is still in very good condition after 25 years and it still works perfectly! I would rather buy a good tanker than 3-4 of a lower quality."
