Kaspars Purtralis is the owner of the company Kalejini. This family farm is located in the north-eastern part of Latvia, in the municipality of Smiltenes, not far from the border with Estonia. This region is known for its large dairy farms. With an average annual milk yield of 14,800 litres per cow, Kalejini is one of the top 3 dairy farms in Latvia. A company of this size has a large amount of organic fertiliser, which the owner wanted to use in the most efficient way possible, and without damaging the meadows and access roads. In 2017, the farm therefore purchased its first JOSKIN Quadra slurry tanker with a Solodisc injector.
