Monocoque Tipping Trailers
The Trans-SPACE agricultural tipping trailers are the bestsellers in XL version in the JOSKIN range of monocoque tipping trailers. Available with a double axle (from 18 t to 22 t technically permissible payload) or a triple axle (from 24 to 26 t technically permissible payload), they have a standard capacity from 21.90 m³ DIN to 30,80 m³ DIN. As an option, aluminium extensions of 25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm or 100 cm, allow to significantly increase the volume in order to get at any time a XXL transport trailer. The Trans-SPACE monocoque tipping trailers can have side walls of 125 cm, or 150 cm high. The 9200/30TRC150 model even combines both body heights in one model. This combination is ideal when using a conveyor (e.g. for the potato harvest). Enough to adapt to all kinds of uses!
The chassis of the JOSKIN Trans-SPACE tipping trailers is 900 mm wide and can therefore be fitted with wide wheels. It is made of profiles tubes of 300 x 100 x 8 mm on models 6500 and of 300 x 100 x 10 mm on the other versions. The Trans-SPACE is fitted with a narrow “arrow-shaped” drawbar providing a high sturdiness and a high steering angle. Furthermore, its wide fixing points (same width as the chassis) further improve the maneuverability. This solution offers a straight pull/push line and a large vertical clearance at the eyelet and thereby also absorbing shocks. Please note that the drawbar has a cross-suspension ensuring the driving comfort of the whole carriage.
The bodies of the Trans-SPACE tipping trailers are made of a 4-mm thick floor sheet in HARDOX 400 and two 4-mm thick side sheets in high tensile steel. The upper strip is reinforced to resist any accidental impact during loading and to guarantee the rigidity of the body, even with heavier loads. The Trans-SPACE bodies are available in 3 heights: 125 cm, 150 cm, as well as a combination of 125 cm and 150 cm for the Trans-SPACE 9200/30TRC150 special model for potatoes. As an option, they can be easily fitted with full aluminium grain extensions ( 25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm or 100 cm), micro-perforated silage extensions ( 50 cm or 75 cm) or extensions with rods (25 cm). The manufacturing process of this tipping trailer not only of this tipping guarantees top quality, but also ensures that the body is perfectly tapered. All Trans-SPACE bodies are indeed 8 cm wider at the back in relation to the front, thus ensuring a complete and fluid emptying. The Trans-SPACE bodies with 125 cm-high side walls are standard fitted with 4 large sight windows of 21 x 38 cm and those with 150-cm high side walls with 4 XL sight windows of 21 x 63 cm, so you always have a good view over the load! At the back, the Trans-SPACE tipping trailers are equipped with a 1-part door with central grain chute (50 x 50 cm) and hydraulic control. The door guarantees a perfect tightness thanks to its mechanical closing safety device and the wide industrial seal in a high-quality guide groove.
The telescopic hydraulic tipping ram is assembled on a double oscillating frame fitted with greased bearings and integrated in the chassis in a forward position. This system compensates the torsions due to the tipping strains and effectively protects the hydraulic ram and the body from distortions. The advanced position of the hydraulic ram also makes it quicker and easier to tip heavy loads. The back- and and upward position of the tipping hinges increases the unloading height. The standard safety valve, which is directly placed on the hydraulic tipping ram, prevents the body from unexpectedly falling down (e.g. when a hydraulic hose breaks). The first two elements of the hydraulic tipping ram are as a standard chromed. This anti-rust protection allows the body of the tipping trailer to be left tilted backwards, especially during the resting time on a harvesting site, without the risk of rust pitting. As an option, it is possible to add a P.T.O.-shaft driven hydraulic tipping pump with or without lowering control. The hydraulically operated rear door is opened by actuating a double-acting tractor distributor and closed by means of a mechanical side lock. This system allows a perfect tightness of the JOSKIN tipping trailers, even with small grains.
All double-axle Trans-SPACE tipping trailers are standard equipped with a Roll-Over bogie – a movable bolted running gear with up to 24 cm clearance (except Trans-Space 7500: Hydro-Tandem running gear). This feature is particularly interesting because it allows to modify the weight on the eyelet, and thus on the back side of the tractor, especially when changing the tyres or the drawbar height. The Roll-Over bogie with parabolic leaves is characterised by its large ground clearance, which is ideal for works on the fields as well as for a good driving comfort. All triple-axle Trans-SPACE tipping trailers (from model 7500) are standard fitted with a Hydro-Tridem running gear, including both a hydraulic axle suspension (clearance: +/- 24 cm) and a double self-steering system (first and last axles), as well as a front lifting axle (for travels with empty vehicle). They are also standard fitted with a tipping stabiliser, which secures the trailer on the ground during the tipping operations.
All JOSKIN Trans-SPACE tipping trailers are standard equipped with various pieces of pre-equipment to easily add various options, either at the time of the order or later (even years after the purchase). Among the most interesting options, you can find: aluminium or steel extensions, covering systems (covers, nets, etc.), a high-tipping or 2-way tipping system, a transfer auger, a 2-part door, plus many more!
