Dropside tipping trailers
Delta-SPACE tipping trailers combine all the advantages of dropside tipping trailers with the driving comfort and stability of triple-axle monocoque tipping trailers: a durable chassis (hot-dip galvanised at the JOSKIN galvanising plant), a high tensile steel construction, a compact, sturdy and modular body... not to mention the standard 3-way tipping system, which makes them even more versatile! In short: real transport all-rounders in XXL version.
In addition to the quality of the steel and 2K paint used to guarantee an outstanding durability, the drawbar and chassis are hot-dip galvanised (in the JOSKIN Group's galvanising plant), which provides the best possible protection against corrosion. Zinc penetrates to the core of the steel, making the surface immune to scratches and rust.
Delta-SPACE tipping trailers benefit from a "silentblock" drawbar suspension that absorbs the vehicle vibrations. In terms of running gear, these semi-mounted models feature a tridem spring leaf suspension, making them true agricultural and road trailers capable of working in difficult conditions. Thanks to a lowered chassis, the centre of gravity is lower, providing greater machine stability and enhanced driving comfort. In addition, the lowered body makes loading easier.
The body offers many advantages: 3-way tipping system as standard, side panels that can be fully or partially removed according to the current needs, but also many possible combinations of side panels (60 cm or 80 cm) to achieve volumes up to 32.54 m³. By removing all of them, the body can be used as a bale trailer to transport round or square bales, pallets or Palox boxes. It is also possible to fit a rear grain auger driven by a hydraulic motor. In short: a real XXL multipurpose tipping trailer.
The body is mass-produced from high tensile steel, identical to that used to manufacture road transport vehicles. It is the best guarantee of sturdiness for a relatively low weight. In addition, its structure with closed profiled tubes increases the resistance to pressure of the walls and give a fluid and modern design to the machine. Another proof of the sturdiness of the body is its 4 mm thick high tensile steel floor, which provides ideal strength without increasing the empty weight. The body is also equipped all around with high-strength synthetic rubber seals (industrial quality). This ensures a perfect tightness and prevents even the smallest seeds and free-flowing products, such as rapeseed, from leaking out, even on bumping roads. The side panels are locked by a large number of hooks that increase the contact between the side panel and the floor seal.
In some places difficult to reach or in order to tip precisely, it can be very useful to be able to dump on the sides of the trailer. This is the case, for instance, if you have to unload into longitudinal chutes or pits, or into a low-rise building. The "3-way" tipping function, standard on all Delta-SPACE, allows you to tip to the rear (50°), to the left (45°) or to the right (45°). The tipping cylinder is mounted in an oscillating frame and the side tipping angle is automatically limited (limit cable). This makes, with a “trailer train”, the 3-way tipping system an essential feature. All Delta-SPACE are equipped as standard with all the necessary equipment to hitch up several vehicles one behind the other.
