In most European countries and beyond, a rear bumper is mandatory for the registration of a vehicle or a coupled implement. Its primary purpose is to protect the road user who would hit you from behind. At JOSKIN, most vehicles and implements are equipped with a hydraulic rear bumper with European hydraulic certification as standard. Its advantage is that it can be folded when not in use, for example during unloading operations.

Its primary purpose is to protect the road user who would hit you from behind. At JOSKIN, most vehicles and implements are equipped as standard with a rear bumper with European certification. Depending on the model, it can be welded or bolted, and in some cases are manually retractable.

The front and/or rear protection chains (available as an option) prevent or at least slow down the projection of objects, such as mowing debris, towards the front or rear of the machine. They thus provide additional safety for the operator and those around him.

In order to meet safety standards and the current legislation, the JOSKIN mounted machines can be fitted with optional reflective boards with red/white stripes and/or additional warning lights.

As an option, all our vehicles can be equipped with side marker lights (LED), end outline marker lamps (LED) or a combination of both, a flashing beacon (LED) or a LED flash bar to increase the road user’s attention and to meet the requirements of some legislations.

In order to be able to continue your work in good conditions, you have the possibility to equip your vehicle with one or more LED working lights. They can be installed either at the rear of the machine, on the sides or in the machines themselves, such as in tipping trailers, livestock trailers, etc.
